HIGHLAND Pillow Collection

Our HIGHLAND pillows have been repurposed from vintage CORTE material (women’s skirts) worn in the village of Colotenango in Guatemala.

Cortes from Colotenango are handwoven on a backstrap loom. The base of these textiles are striped and range in color from deep red to dark, earthy rust and are finished with geometric brocade woven directly into the fabric.
