San Pedro Pillow - Emerald Multicolor Stripe
These vintage textiles worn as skirts in the villages of Guatemala were loomed by hand in a technique known as Jaspé, which produces a linear, geometric design that is complex and mesmerizing.
The four pillows in this collection have additional handmade elements, such as tassels, embroidery and fringe that create a standalone statement, but can also be mixed and matched. All backed with a foot loomed cotton textile.
Large Square measures 24 x 24 inches and has hand stitching at the seam, where the textile has been joined so that the pattern runs both vertically and horizontally. Adorned with a single large handmade tassel.
Large Lumbar measures 14 x 34 inches and has hand stitching at the seam, where the textile has been joined so that the pattern runs both vertically and horizontally. One side of the pillow has five natural white tassels.
Small Square measure 17 x 17 inches and has natural white fringe surrounding all edges.
