Vintage Moroccan Berber Woven Pillow Cover

The textile of this elegant and vibrant Moroccan woven pillow comes from the Berbers, an ethnic group indigenous to North Africa. Though some Berbers are nomadic, traditionally they worked as farmers living in the mountains near the Mediterranean coast.

The geometric and linear designs woven into this wool cover are commonly found in Moroccan Berber woven textiles, especially in traditional kilims (tapestry-woven carpets).
