Tuareg Drawstring Pouch
The Tuareg were traditionally a nomadic culture that traveled in camel caravans along trade routes in the Saharan desert until the mid-20th century.
This intricately handcrafted leather drawstring pouch has a braided strap that can be tightened to secure the opening of the bag. Lengthy and decorative fringe accents cascade from the bottom of the pouch, giving it vibrant and dramatic movement when carried.
In good condition with beautiful leather patina.
Entire length measures approx. 52 in. from top of strap to bottom of fringe. Strap length is approx. 22 in.
Pouch measures 10 in. high with a 9 in. diameter.
